Core Values:

Social Responsibility

Since 2007, the Sujana Foundation has worked alongside underserved communities through education, healthcare, environment, and livelihoods, addressing interconnected challenges – not just immediate needs – with a commitment to positively impact 10 lakh lives by 2030.

Sustainable Development

Lasting change requires long-term solutions. Our four-pillar framework – Education, Health, Environment & Climate, and Livelihood & Skilling – creates reinforcing cycles of impact, benefiting communities while building a healthier, more sustainable future.

Equity

Equal access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity is a right. We work to close gaps for women, youth, daily-wage workers, and underserved communities, ensuring fair opportunities are within everyone's reach.

Alternate Thinking

Real problems rarely yield to conventional responses. We challenge the usual by creating practical, community-driven solutions – from kitchen gardens and AI training to heritage livelihoods and street plays – that inspire lasting behavioural change.

Positive Impact

Every initiative is measured by its impact on lives. We track outcomes, adapt, and improve continuously while remaining committed to positively impacting 10 lakh lives by 2030 through meaningful, measurable, and lasting change.

Chief Patron & Thought Leader

In business, you learn to spot potential. In public life, you learn to see what stands in its way. Across Andhra Pradesh, Yalamanchili Satyanarayana Chowdary (Sujana Chowdary) saw both – communities rich in ambition, held back by gaps that were neither inevitable nor acceptable. No accessible healthcare. Schools that couldn’t hold a child’s attention past the weight of poverty. No skill pathways to turn aspiration into income. The response was not charity. It was architecture – building institutions capable of making those gaps smaller, year by year, until they disappear. Sujana Foundation was established in 2007 on that conviction: that a community’s future should not be a function of its luck, but of the quality of its institutions and the sustained will of the people behind them. That belief shapes every programme, every partnership, and every life the Foundation touches.
